What is Improper City?

“Choose your own adventure”

We are a spacious, large-scale taproom and coffee bar. Improper City features 36 taps, a full bar selection, specialty cocktails, and a seasonal menu. We are a place that wants you to come as you are and choose your own adventure. We welcome all people.

Our graffiti-adjacent patio is dog-friendly, has a seasonal bar space, great Wi-Fi, community games, and hosts several food trucks. Grab a boardgame off the shelf or cozy up outside by the firepits and make yourself at home.

Established 2019.

Who is Improper City?

“Did you find me, or did I find you?”

Improper City is and always has been locally owned and operated. We employ over 30 people who make Improper City what it is. We spend mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays together. We celebrate and support each other.

We are Improper.
